At least 7 passengers have been killed in a fatal accident which happened on Thursday 31, along Onitsha/Owerri expressway in Imo state.  According to a Facebook user identified as Ben Duru.  He wrote:    "An accident that happened at Njaba Bridge within Onitsha/Owerri road between a Tipper and an L 300 bus carrying up to 10 people and a little child, six persons lost their lives instantly and a little child that is unconscious on the way rushing the small child to Chiwendu Hospital, the child died on the spot making it 7 and four passengers was unconscious and was rushed to Chiwendu hospital for treatment.

 A father has been reportedly arrested for allegedly brutalizing his daughter. It was reported that the man brutally beat his daughter for failing to understand studies while being taught and thereby injured her in the process. The injured girl was discovered by a well meaning citizen who spotted several injuries on her body and raised an alarm.

 Confusion and fear gripped residents after an Islamic cleric popularly known as Alfa Ola-Shehu died mysteriously. According to reports, the Alfa slumped and died in an unexplainable circumstance at Oremeji Express to the shock of passersby and residents.  He was rushed to the hospital by some people who gathered around as he was later confirmed dead.

 The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC Kaduna office, today May 31,2018 arraigned the former Executive Governor of Kaduna state Mukhtar Ramalan Yero, former minister of state, Nuhu Somo wya, former people's Democratic party, PDP, Kaduna state chairman, Abubakar Haruna Gay and the former secretary to the state Government, Hamza Ishaq. They were arraigned before justice S.M Shuaibu of the Federal High Court charge bordering on criminal conspiracy, Bribery, Money Laundering and criminal Diversion of Funds to the tune of N7000,000,000(seven Hundred Million Naira) only.  They all pleaded not guilty to the charges.  Lead prosecution counsel, Joshua saidi then prayed the court for a date for commencement of trial, while remanding the accused persons in prison custody.  Lead defence counsel, Yunus Listaz Usman (SAN) made application for bail orally but Justice Shuaibu refused. The court ruled that formal application for bail of the accused must be filed. He therefore

 The chairman, Punch Nigeria Limited, Mr. Gbadebowale Wale Aboderin, reportedly, is dead. He died on Wednesday, May 30,2018 after a heart surgery at the age of 60.May his soul rest in peace, Amen.

 A notorious car snatcher met his Waterloo following a failed robbery operation in Awka, Anambra state. According to reports, the suspected thief was apprehended by officers of the Nigeria police Force while trying to make away with a Toyota Camry car around Diamond Bank Expressway.  He was beaten mercilessly by the security operatives and later taken into custody.

 An Abuja High court yesterday reportedly, sentenced former Governor of Taraba state, Jolly Name to 14 years in jail for misappropriating N1.64billion while in office.  The pictures shows his facial expression as the judge made the declaration for his sentencing. Photos below;

 Senator Dino Melaye has revealed why he changed his sit at the Senate yesterday.  A renown businessman and politician Alhaji Garba Kirki Jega has passed away this Tuesday at a private hospital in Abuja of an illness at the age of 65.  A statement signed by the chief press secretary to the Governor Abubakar Mu'azu Dakingari says Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu along with former Governor of the state incumbent senator Kebbi central Muhammadu Adamu Aliero attended his funeral in Jega this Wednesday. Also present were former deputy Governor and now chief of staff Alhaji Suleman Muhammad Argungu, former Deputy Governor, Katsina state Alhaji Ahmad Jikamshi as well as Business tycoon and chairman Max Airlines Alhaji Dahiru Barau Mangal.  Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu participated in the burial of the decJega cemetery Al's paid a condolence visit to family house, during which prayers were offered for the repose of his soul.  Late Garba Kirki Jega is survived by his aged mother, Hajiya Rakkiya, his wife Halima and twenty-five children among whom is Alhaji

 A man was arrested and taken into custody after he was caught red handed having sex with a pregnant wife of another man in a hotel.  According to reports, the two were found red-handed by the husband of the woman who was assisted by the security guard personnel at the hotel.  After finding them having sex-with his pregnant wife on top due to her pregnancy, the husband ordered the promiscuous duo to continue what they were doing as he recorded them.  The man was eventually arrested and placed in handcuffs. The incident occurred yesterday in Lusaka, Zambia capital city.

 A suspected kidnapper was killed in a gruesome manner after he was apprehended by an angry mob some days ago. According to a Facebook user, Emmanuel Akpan, the suspect was caught after allegedly kidnapping a 4-year-old child. The angry mob descended on him without wasting any time and stone him to death with bricks.

 Nigerian musician, sir Shins Peters has shared lovely photos to mark his 60th birthday. The legendary Afrojuju musician who was a massive sensation the 80s and early 90s shared a lovely message in which he announced that he will be marking his special day with a party at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos.   He wrote:  "A 60th birthday is an important and treasured milestone of life.  A couple were filmed having sex on the balcony of a luxury Monaco hotel in front of shocking onlookers. The amorous pair left crowds open mouthed with the romp allegedly filmed at the five Star Hermitage Hotel in Monte-Cario.  In a bizarre video, widely circulated on social media, the naked couple appear to hasten their speed to the sound of t blaring dance music playing at a party in the courtyard below.  Fellow guests at the £17,00-a- night hotel, overlooking the Formula 1 track, were shocked by their antics, with one reveller shouting "oh my god, go slowly my friend".  Located in the heart of the principality prestigious Carre d'Or district, the hotel is just a one-minute walk from main square with its casino, opera and designer shops.
