 Zurmi local government area of Zamfara state has recorded a case where over 20 unidentified corpses were found in a forest. Some of the bodies were reportedly, killed by gunshots while some had their throats slit and no one could really tell why they were killed as most of the victims were adults. According to spokesperson of the state police command SP Muhammad Shehu who said the police got an information that bodies were seen in a forest in Zurmi local government area and they went there to ascertain the claim. He said;  "our team of operatives were there and they recovered the bodies. Descreet investigation has commenced in earnest and the perpetrators will soon be brought to book." The bodies had been buried.

 Jasmine Precious John, a graduate of Kaduna state University, KASU was killed after being stabbed by robbers during robbery attack. The Abuja based young lady was approached by two armed robbers who snatched her phone from her.  Jasmine Precious John, was reported to have been stabbed in the chest by the hoodlums - who fled the scene after dispossessing her of her phone.  Her friend shared the the story on Facebook and also revealed how she was killed.    She closed from the shop in the evening yesterday, walked to the road side to board a been bike home, little did she know that yesterday was her last day.  Two boys, real sons of bellal, approached her and asked her to surrender her phone. For asking "why"?, she was stabbed with a knife on the chest. She slumped there and two emissaries of Satan dispossessed her of the phone and ran away.  May they never know peace until they repent!

 A lady was arrested in Imo state for trying to cut off a man's manhood after sex. This incident happened yesterday according to reports, around Douglas road, Owerri.  A journalist with NTA identified as Amb Ahanotu Chimeremeze Uzondu, witnessed the scene,  narrated how the incident happened as he wrote;   "I just this morning, I dash it fidelity bank Douglas for transaction, only to see a girl breathing and panting. I asked what happened, I was told by an eyewitness that the girl chopped off a guy's manhood. Then I pressed further to get the real story which was accounted as. The girl called the victim late in the evening on Thursday, that she wants him around her. The guy asked her to come, she requested the guy to come and pick her up in her hostel at IMSU.  The guy went and picked her.  There were strong indications yesterday that the presidency may have set up enquiry into the alleged 'reckless'  spending by the officials of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) at the on-going FIFA world cup in Russia.  Some cultists attacked a young man at his hostel in Edo state last week Saturday. Journalist Sapele Ogbenek shared the update of the 300 level student from Delta state - where members of Eiye confraternity was attacked by rival gang members who shot him in the head.  But it was learnt that the young man escaped with the injury after being shot and ran the a nearby hospital.   As at the time of press, no one is sure if the young man is dead  while some are saying he is in an undisclosed hospital in order to prevent the cultists from attacking again.

 An Igbo man has shared photos of his birthday celebration where he replaced the regular cake that many people used to mark their special day with Fufu!  Lol.  The federal government says it will commence disbursement of the $322 million recovered Abacha loot through conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) to 302,000 poor households in 19 States in July. Tukur Rumar of the National Cash Transfer Office (NTCO), said this at a roundtable on assets recovery organised by the Swiss Embassy on Thursday, in Abuja.  The event was organised to intimate citizens and Civil society Organizations (CSOs) on the efforts both nations were making on asset recovery after the post-Global Forum on Assets Recovery (GFAR) held in Washington D.C in December 2017.  At the forum, Nigeria made commendable commitments on beneficial ownership, tax transparency management of recovered funds and payments to victims of corruption.  The state are: Niger, Kogi, Ekiti, Osun, Oyo, Kwara, Cross River, Bauchi, Gombe, Jigawa, Benue, Taraba, Adamawa, Kano, Katsina, Kaduna, Plateau, Nasarawa, Anambra and Internally Displace Camp(IDPs) in Borno.   According to Mr Rumar, the benefi

 Following the recent brutal attacks on some communities of Barking Ladi LGA of Plateau state and following a protest by some occupants I'm the communities, the special Military Task Force, codenamed Operation safe Haven, has arrested some suspects.  On Wednesday, Umar Adams, the spokesperson for the OPSH, who disclosed this at a press conference in Jos, said three of the suspects were arrested in connection with the attacks, while 14 other persons were nabbed for allegedly blocking federal highways to protest the killings by herdsmen in the state.   He stated that the three suspects (two are Fulanis while the other is from Berom tribe), who had not confessed to the crime, were apprehended at Hashish District Barkin Ladi LGA of the state.  He said 14 of the suspects were arrested while allegedly causing "civil unrest" by stopping passersby on the highways.  More than 100 persons were killed and about 50 houses torched during the attacks by herdsmen on Xland,

 Marisa Papen, a Belgian model has come under fire after posing naked in front of the western wall in Jerusalem. The model from Flanders, can be seen reclining in a plastic chair on a roof top above the religious site and in another nude snap she climbs up a pole flying the Israeli flag.  Three Nigerians were on Tuesday night, honoured by Queen Elizabeth in the United Kingdom.  On 25th June 2018 troops deployed at Magam town reportedly arrested 3 suspected informants in Gobrirawa village following a tip off.  Inmates were made to fight naked in a horrific video which was posted online.  A woman who involved in a fire incident at her residence in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state has reportedly escaped death. The woman was trying to light up a stove before it went up in flames and burnt her. Luckly, she tried to put off the fire before it spread to other parts of her body.  She was rushed to hospital where she is receiving treatment.

 A final year student of the Imo State University, Blessing Amam, was on Monday found dead alongside her lover, identified as Emeka in her hostel in Umudagu-Mbieri, Mbaitoli LGA.  Southern city News learnt on Tuesday that the deceased student was a final year student in the Department of Theatre Arts, who was expected to graduate in August.  It was learnt that she slept in her hostel room with her lover on Sunday but both of them could not wake up the next day (Monday).  A neighbour, who craved anonymity, said it was the smell from the deceased room that alerted other occupants who had returned from school that something was wrong.   She said,   "The student came back from school and started inhaling very offensive smell and on inquiry, it was discovered that it was from Blessing Amam's room.  "Her flat mates called her but she did not respond.  An Egyptian pundit is said to have died after suffering a heart attack while watching Egypt lose their third game at the world cup.
