 Culture has been seen as people's way of life. Some celebrate it annually while others celebrate theirs in two or three years. During the time of celebrations, some indigenous citizens will invite their friends and well-wishers to come and Merry with them even some cultures do attract foreigners who derives joy in participating thereby taking pictures and videos as the activities goes on.  But one always asked, what is the essence or benefit(s) of culture? Is it to generate income to help develop a community or after the celebration(s), some families/parents are left in perpetual trauma and agony due to the lost of their loved ones.  The younger generations who actively participate in some cultures always threatened to deal with those who do not actively join them during initiation thereby restricting their movements either by flogging them mercilessly or by mandating them to give them money before they could move about freely.  This is the case of this young s...

 A Lawyer just narrated how some men of the Operatives who  identified themselves as policemen at a checkpoint along Port-Harcourt Road  stopped his friend/client called Mr. Bright as he was traveling to Port-Harcourt to see his family on his Toyota Camry Car.  The incident which happened on 9th July 2018  when the policemen asked Mr. Bright to pack his car aside for him to be searched, on the process of searching they asked him to give them his handset which he did, next he(Mr. Bright) was asked to go and see their Oga whom they have now handed the handset to.  On reaching at their Oga base, the Oga and Lawyer's friend has to bargain on how much he will give them after going through the account details on mr. Bight's handset before he will continue his journey. As They began to intimidate him. They outrightly demanded N2m threatening to take him to an unknown location if he doesn't comply. In fear, he bargained and dragged the amount down to N50,000....

 The academic and non-accademic staffs of the Federal polytechnic Nekede has been thrown into mourning as one of their member identified as Mr. Jude Opara was killed in a tricycle by armed men on 17th July 2018 who followed him inside a tricycle along Orlu Road near FMC Hospital.  According to reports, Mr. Jude Opara who hailed from Amakohia-Ubi in Owerri West of  Imo State went with his younger brother to make some transactions from a bank at Amakohia/Orlu Road.. After the transactions, his younger brother who happened to be a commercial tricyclist dropped Mr. Jude Opara at the FMC Hospital  to go and pick his children from school while Mr. Jude said to have gone to see his doctor for a new eyeglasses.  The 46 year old man was said to have entered another tricycle from FMC Hospital gate after seeing his doctor as the tricyclist stopped at Alvan Ikoku Federal College Of Education to pick more passengers, some hoodlums who followed the non-accademic staff ...

 Some people goes to church to worship and thank God for His mercy and kindness upon their lives while surprisingly some goes there to steal when others are busy giving prayers and praises to God.  A woman who presented herself as a first-timer in a called Libration Arena Power Gospel Church  was caught by an usher of the church...on confession the lady identified as Mrs Amarachi Okereke who hailed from   Obi Ngwu in Ngwa LGA of Abia State  said any new church she visits, she sents her two minor children to pick member's handbags especially purse and hide it, then after the service she will empty the handbags or purse taking any valuable item from it, drop them there and leave the church premises.

 A young lady is full of praises as she shared a story about how she was involved in a ghastly accident where she nearly lost her life while on her way travelling to her home during Christmas.  The incident which according to her happened on 23rd December 2014 while going for Christmas celebration but did not reach her destination till Dec 25th when she finally found herself in UNTH Enugu. Sharing her experience on social media, Precious as called by her friends posted the ordeal she faced before spending about 4 hours with Doctors and Nurses in the theatre who did all they can to save her life before her hand was amputated.  As she said; " I cannot thank God enough for sparing myself "  See photos below;  

Police is a respectable group of people that sacrifice their time, life and even leave their families to else where just to render community policing in order to make society a better place.  So many persons have quit police job because of the poor welfare upkeep of the officers and this leads to increment in crimes.  Police are human beings who gives services to make the community or the society a better place and also help it grow. A graduate of Federal Polytechnic Nekede has taken to Facebook to describe how he choose to kill a cat before it harms him calling it witchcraft to his friend.  Blessing Okoro has taken to her Instagram page to narrate her experience with a man she supposed to help get a job, how he was unkind and rude to her while they were inside a tricycle.  The popular social media influencer and CEO of Break or Make Up supposed to meet the man at a designated spot and on the way to the agreed place, they met in the tricycle but didn't know each other.  According to her, she has no idea he was the man she was going to meet and he didn't also know she was the one he was going to meet for help.  Take time to read her story below;

 At least four suspected gang members have been killed in Lagos mainland after rival cult group clash. According to reports, Aye and Eiye cult groups had spoiled for war on Tuesday morning but due to interventions by security men, it were dispersed.  Notwithstanding, the Aye group targeted a member of the Eiye who had gone to a beer parlour to cool off and murdered him. In revenge, according to News the Eiye members who were with him went on rampage, killing one of the Aye member known as Gabriel, who has reportedly been at a barber shop.  The bodies were said to be lying on the street as at 12 am.

 A 300 level student of Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education met his untimely death following an attack by some cultists at the school gate. The incident happened last night 24th July 2018 at about 9:45pm.  The Computer science Education student known as Celeb from Okigwe - was shot dead after being attacked and his attackers fled immediately after their mission was accomplished.

 According to a report, a woman who went for school run was kidnapped by some armed men. The incident happened  yesterday 23rd July 2018 in a community called Umuoyo in Owerri West of Imo state.  It was said that the woman, a Lawyer's wife while coming back from her children's school saw an SUV car packed in front of her gate as she stopped to waved at the driver to move, immediately two armed persons emerged from the SUV car threatening to kill her if she dare makes a noise.  They later zoomed off with the woman and her children and the two cars.  Some traders can go extra miles in a bid to make it in trading business. A woman trader thinks she is smart but later discovered she is only a hoo-doo.  This young lady simply identified as Uloma from Umuoma Irete in Owerri West of Imo state met more than what she bargained for as she is now on the run over a crime she purposely committed.  On July 20th, the suspect(Uloma) went to market at Douglas Road Owerri to purchase some goods for sells for her shop. After purchasing the goods, she hired a barrow pusher to convey the goods to the Ogugba motor park where she will board a taxi to Irete her home and her selling place.  As the suspect (Uloma) was off-laoding her goods from the barrow with the barrow man, another barrow pusher with some goods  from a different trader landed the same spot to board the same taxi heading to Irete too.  unfortunately the second barrow man doesn't know who hired him for his service as he (barrowman) allowed the suspec...

 A young lady who left her house yesterday with her children to worship her God for protecting and guiding her family was found dead in her church as her church members and families were thrown into confusion and was left in a mourning mood over her sudden death.  According to report, as praises and worship songs were going on, the Lady identified as Mrs. Doris Orugboh fell down and died instantly.  But to be sure, her members rushed her to Jesus Heal Clinic were she was confirmed dead. Her body has been deposited to Okparavero Mortuary.  Too bad. May her soul find rest and peace.

 Today Friday, senator representing Kogi west at the Senate, senator Dino Melaye was invited by police command over his claim that he was shot at by a combination of police, SARS and Military.  Recalled that the senator has taken to his Twitter handle to thank his God for sparing him.  Security operatives supervised a kidnapper's hideout in Mgbidi area of Imo state as Imo state government embarked on massive demolition where the criminals housed an APC chieftain and murdered him in cold blood.
