NDLEA Arrests Man Selling Illicit Drugs In Imo State.

In a bid to fight against illicit drugs, the NDLEA has reassured Nigerians that nobody is above the law as a man was arrested following a tip-off by some residents in an area.  The scene which happened this morning, 20th, July, 2018 at Amakohia-Ubi  village in Owerri west LGA of Imo state where a young man known as Mr. Ephraim Anosieike popular called  Okpo was nabbed   immediately he returned from where (market) he bought the goods (Marijuana)  as he was busy wrapping them for sales to customers, the NDLEA officials stormed the place on mofti which deceived him to think they are customers but as they (officials) approached him, they put on their apron bearing their official name (NDLEA) Which seems impossible for the young man to escape but as smart as he thinks he is, he tried to run through a Small pathway which leads to another road but unfortunately for him, the NDLEA officials where faster than him as he is now cooling off with handcuffs ...

Residents Laments As Cattle Herders Invades Their Community.

 Fear seems to have gripped the people of Ugbekele in Sapele Delta state over the destruction of their crops by cattle Fulani herders that has invaded their community. An online report says a farmer's plantain plantation has allegedly been destroyed by the herdsmen.  According to the report, when the matter got to the DPO of the station, he reportedly warned his men never to record any incident of cattle Fulani herders in his station but gave the people (farmers) only his number to call him in case any trouble may arise. As the people lament that even the Army no fit help either on the matter.  Currently, farming activities has drop in the community of Ugbakele(Mosoger and Jesse including some parts of Amukpe) in Sapele Delta state.  The user concluds:   "Nobody go dey happy to invest in farming and see Cows destroying it crops, na from clap dance dey start."

Vibes Media Sues Kim Kardashian Over Perfume Logo.

The vibes media did not take it easy nor find it funny as the company filed a law suit against Kim Kardashian for the use of a logo on her KKW perfumes.  According to TMZ , the Chicago-based company vibes media accused her of using their logo for the vibes line in the Kimoji perfume collection with which it bears a strikiling resemblance including its body.  The company is asking her to pay the sum of $5million.

 As the suspect and his accomplice who is still at large re-established contact with their victim demanding additional N300,000 for the release of his car, after collecting N1.3m for their victim's release, FSARS led by its commander, Godfrey Victor, nabbed one of the suspect on the process  who identified himself as Sunday Okoli, age 35, during an interview with newsmen.  He Said; "my name is Sunday Okoli, I am from Amakohia-ubi in Owerri west LGA. I recently came back from Lagos and this is the first time I joined them to this operation.  "I got a share of N100,000 from N600,00 that was paid. I did not follow them to the hideout. The hideout is at Awara in Ohaji/Egbema LGA though I have not been there before, that is where the Jeep is"  he said.

The Living And The Dead Dance in East Africa.

A country called Madagascar has for decades taken to what some people see as deviating from norm as part of their culture where the dead of a family member that has been buried for some years(7 years) precisely is invoked to celebrate with the living.  The country which  locates in East Africa is home for the fourth largest Island in the world has since the arrival of humans on island in 359 BC  been witnessing different stages of civilization and cultures. One of her (Madagascar) culture is known as Famadihana  which has been in existence since the 17th- century where burial rite is performed - literally translated to "turning of the bones."   According to report,  famadihana involves the digging up a corpse to dance with the living. This is done in every seven years by the family of the dead.  The celebration starts with music trumpets and chants of joy while this is being done, digging commences. Unidentified Corpse Of A Man Found In Owerri.

 The unidentified corpse was found along MCC Road junction, at a Newspaper stand in Owerri, Imo state.  According to the Facebook user, the dead body is said to be an elderly man and one of the Artisans (Brick-layer) that usually comes out every morning to fend for a living before he reportedly fell sick and had been there for over a week without anybody identifying him or care to take him to hospital.  He later gave up the ghost.
