Residents Laments As Cattle Herders Invades Their Community.
Fear seems to have gripped the people of Ugbekele in Sapele Delta state over the destruction of their crops by cattle Fulani herders that has invaded their community. An online report says a farmer's plantain plantation has allegedly been destroyed by the herdsmen.
According to the report, when the matter got to the DPO of the station, he reportedly warned his men never to record any incident of cattle Fulani herders in his station but gave the people (farmers) only his number to call him in case any trouble may arise.
As the people lament that even the
Army no fit help either on the matter.
Currently, farming activities has drop in the community of Ugbakele(Mosoger and Jesse including some parts of Amukpe) in Sapele Delta state.
