Gunmen Kidnap Catholic Priest As Police Begin Search.

Men of the Edo state police command are now combing the forest in Uhunmwode LGA of the state in search of a Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Edwin Omorogbe, who was abducted on Wednesday evening.

 The state commissioner of police Babatu De Kokumo, who confirmed the development, said efforts were being made to the Catholic priest.

 Fr. Omorogbe was abducted at Egba junction along the Benin-Ekpoma highway while returning from Uromi, Esan North East LGA of the state.

 Kokumo assured that the priest would be rescued as soon as possible.
