Scores Killed As Benue Residents Clash With Hausa Indigenes (Graphic photos)

 Here are pictures of the Hausa indigenes that were attacked within Makurdi, Benue capital in a fresh crisis rocking the state... Two mosques were also burnt to the ground and traders goods ransacked in the course of the attack.

 The Benue state government confirmed eleven people killed in the attack.
 Rilwanu Adamu, the adviser to the Benue government Samuel Orton on Islamic affairs, said the attack happened in the state capital, Makurdi and that it was targeted at ethnic Hausa traders.
 "We lost 11 of our people... We have five people also hospitalize in Makurdi," he said, warning that the death toll could yet rise.

 The attackers came in the wake of an attack on a Church in the Mbalom community south of Makurdi on Tuesday, which left 16 worshipers and two priests dead.
