Trucks Of Fulanis Intercepted At A Military Checkpoint In Cross.

 Two truck loads of Fulani indigenes were intercepted at a military checkpoint at Bekwarra LGA in Cross River state.
 According to reports, the leader of the Fulani group revealed that they were sighted by some youths at Ogoja while coming down from the truck to buy food.
  According to Idoko Simmy, the Fulanis revealed that they were coming from Kogi state and were heading to Amana Ufonga in Obanliku LGA of Cross River in order to migrate to Cameroon.
 Their intention was to stop at Ogoja barracks before continuing with their journey but they were unfortunately intercepted by the youths who raised an alarm.
 Youths numbering over 300 from host community Ogoja and beyond came in agreement and refused the Fulanis from settling there for the main time as they were escorted from Garki,to Yahe in Yala.
 When the people of Yahe saw what was going on, they joined in the campaign and chased them further through the borders of Yala and Ikom.
 According to reports, the Fulani'swho were 96 in number were reportedly taken back to Kogi in company of armed soldiers in order to prevent any attack from tensed youths.
