Leader Of The Gang That Threw Party Which Killed Police Officer Arrested.

 Ibrahim Usman has been arrested by the Niger state police command in Barking sale area of Chanchaga LGA of the state for organising the party where the Kpakungu Divisional Crime Officer, Aaron Sunday, was murdered on March 3,2017.
 It was gathered that Sunday was killed when he attempted to intervene in a fight which broke out among the party goers, most of whom were said to be gangsters.
 Northern City News gathered that Ibrahim was the leader of a gang called 'Down Base Boys of Barking Sale' which has been giving the entire community sleepless nights.
 The suspect said that he hosted the party where the DCO was killed by the hoodlums in attendance.
 "We have two groups in our area, upper and down base that are known for their unlawful possession of dangerous weapons and unlawful assembly at Barking sale. As the party was going on, the two groups started fighting but when the police officer intervened, they stabbed him with a knife and he died," Ibrahim said.
 The suspect added that he fled after the death of the DCO and returned to the community after a year, oblivious of the manhunt for him by the police.
 He said, "When the DCO was killed, I ran away from my area, believing that the matter has been rested since last year, I came back to my area only to find myself in a police net. Honestly, I never knew that the police were hunting for me over the case," he lamented.
 Usman Ibrahim, a furniture Maker, blamed his gang members for allegedly ruining his life.
 "If I had known I wouldn't have been causing people in the community pains, now it clear to me that it is God's ordination that police should apprehend me, may Allah have mercy on me, he stated.
 The police Public Relations Officer, Muhammad Abubakar, disclosed that the suspect would soon be arraigned in court.
